Senate 1126: Relating to Statewide Tobacco Education & Prevention [FPCC] ------------------------------------------------------------------

S1126    GENERAL BILL/CS/1ST ENG by Health and Human Services Appropriations;
Peaden (Compare 1ST ENG/H 7045, S 1908)
Statewide Tobacco Education & Prevention [FPCC]; requires DOH to conduct
statewide tobacco education & use prevention program; creates Tobacco
Education & Use Prevention Advisory Council; provides reimbursement for
travel & other expenses for council members; requires Secretary of
Health to award contracts in consultation with council; provides for
appointment of peer-review panel to review proposals for funding;
specifies use of funds appropriated under program, etc. Creates 381.84.
EFFECTIVE DATE: 07/01/2007.
