House 1269: Relating to Nursing Home Firesafety ------------------------------------------------------------------

H1269    GENERAL BILL/1ST ENG by Gardiner; (CO-SPONSORS) Quinones  (Similar
CS/CS/S 2466)
Nursing Home Firesafety; requires nursing homes to be protected by
certain automatic sprinkler systems; provides schedule; authorizes State
Fire Marshal Division to grant certain time extensions; requires
adjustments to certain provider Medicaid rates for reimbursement for
Medicaid's portion of costs to meet certain requirements; requires
funding for such adjustments to come from existing nursing home
appropriations, etc. Amends Ch. 633. EFFECTIVE DATE: 07/01/2004.
