House 1459: Relating to Cigarettes/Transportation & Sale

H1459    GENERAL BILL by Altman (CS by Business Regulation)  (Similar
  CS/CS/CS/S 2676, Compare H 0405, 2ND ENG/S 2112)
  Cigarettes/Transportation & Sale; provides stamp requirements for
  cigarettes in transport; revises requirements for & limitations on
  affixation of stamps; requires manufacturers, importers, distributing
  agents, dealers, & retail dealers to hold current, valid permit to sell,
  distribute, or receive cigarettes; authorizes certain law enforcement
  officials to inspect certain shipping vehicles; authorizes destruction
  of certain cigarettes, etc. Amends Ch. 210.  EFFECTIVE DATE: Upon
  becoming law.
