Senate 1754: Relating to Department of Business and Professional Regulation [WPSC] ------------------------------------------------------------------

S1754    GENERAL BILL/CS/1ST ENG by General Government Appropriations; Baker

CS/CS/1ST ENG/S 1640, CS/CS/S 2262, 2ND ENG/S 2600)
Department of Business and Professional Regulation [WPSC]; Exempts
certified public accountants from passage of an examination pertaining
to state laws and rules applicable to the practice of the profession.
Removes provisions authorizing a late filing fee for the laws and rules
examination, provisions requiring passage of the examination for license
renewal, and provisions requiring passage of the examination for
reactivation of an inactive license, etc. EFFECTIVE DATE: 07/01/2009.
