Senate 2114: Relating to Child Development ------------------------------------------------------------------

S2114    GENERAL BILL by Commerce, Economic Opportunities, and Consumer Services;
(CO-SPONSORS) Garcia (Linked S 2116)
Child Development; conforms provisions to revised definitions governing
child development; provides that certain children in Relative Caregiver
Program are eligible for school readiness services; revises requirements
of Rilya Wilson Act; creates Florida Partnership for School Readiness;
provides requirements for school readiness programs; establishes
requirements for Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters
program, etc. Amends FS. EFFECTIVE DATE: 10/01/2004 except as otherwise
provided.
