Senate 2594: Relating to Pari-mutuel Wagering [CPSC] ------------------------------------------------------------------

S2594    GENERAL BILL by Gaetz  (Similar H 1437, Compare H 1491, S 2278)
Pari-mutuel Wagering [CPSC]; Revises a definition. Provides that a
greyhound permitholder who meets certain requirements may engage in
specific wagering activities without meeting a minimum number of live
performances. Imposes a moratorium on the issuance of new greyhound
racing permits. Conforms provisions. Revises the number of live
performances that a greyhound permitholder must conduct in order to
renew a cardroom license. EFFECTIVE DATE: 07/01/2009.
