Senate 2858: Relating to Workforce Development Funding ------------------------------------------------------------------

S2858    GENERAL BILL by Bennett  (Compare 1ST ENG/H 0769, CS/1ST ENG/S 1258,
CS/S 1452)
Workforce Development Funding; revises criteria for funding workforce
development programs; replaces performance-based funding with funding
based on workload plus performance; requires DOE to develop
funding-allocation models for community colleges & for school district
programs; provides restrictions on base funding; requires that, when
program moves from one local educational agency to another, funds move
to new agency within specified period of time, etc. Amends 1011.80.
EFFECTIVE DATE: 07/01/2004.
