Senate 0718: Relating to Transportation Department ------------------------------------------------------------------

S718     GENERAL BILL/CS by Transportation and Economic Development
Appropriations; Sebesta (Compare 2ND ENG/H 1681, 1ST ENG/H 1887, 2ND
ENG/S 2602)
Transportation Department; authorizes dept. to adopt rules governing
leasing of property for joint public-private development; grants local
governments authority to issue permits allowing limited temporary use of
state transportation right-of-way; establishes maximum limit on
state-funded infrastructure bank loans to State Transportation TF;
revises requirements for projects intended to mitigate adverse effects
of transportation projects; etc. Amends Chs. 337, 339, 373. EFFECTIVE
DATE: 07/01/2005.
