House 0723: Relating to Foster Care Services ------------------------------------------------------------------

H723     GENERAL BILL/2ND ENG by Murman; (CO-SPONSORS) Ambler  (Identical
CS/CS/CS/1ST ENG/S 1698, Compare H 0279, CS/CS/S 1232, CS/CS/S 2808)
Foster Care Services; prohibits certain members of community alliance
from receiving funds from CFS Dept. or community-based lead agency;
provides additional requirements for eligible lead community-based
provider to compete for privatization project; creates provision re
education of abused, neglected, & abandoned children; requires
agreements between CFS Dept. & district school boards or other local
educational entities, etc. Amends FS. EFFECTIVE DATE: 07/01/2004.
