Senate 0184: Relating to Adolescent Offenders/Parole [SPSC] ------------------------------------------------------------------

S184     GENERAL BILL/CS/CS by Criminal and Civil Justice Appropriations;
Criminal Justice; Joyner; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Dockery (Similar CS/H 0023)
Adolescent Offenders/Parole [SPSC]; Provides that an adolescent offender
who was 15 years of age or younger at the time of commission of an
offense and who is sentenced to life or a single or cumulative term of
10 years or more in prison is eligible for parole if the offender has
been incarcerated for a minimum period and has not previously been
convicted of or adjudicated delinquent for certain offenses. Provides
for retroactive application, etc. EFFECTIVE DATE: Upon becoming law.
