Senate 1042: Relating to Reactive Drywall [CPSC] ------------------------------------------------------------------

S1042    GENERAL BILL by Aronberg  (Compare H 0975, S 0500, S 1044)
Reactive Drywall [CPSC]; Requires a person who inspects homes for
corrosion of metals associated with reactive drywall to inspect certain
items for corrosion. Requires a person who removes reactive drywall or
corroded appliances to provide the homeowner with a remediation plan.
Requires the DBPR to adopt rules to establish minimum standards for home
inspections of and remediation planning for reactive drywall, etc.
EFFECTIVE DATE: 07/01/2010.
