Senate 1816: Relating to Assisted Living Facilities [SPSC] ------------------------------------------------------------------

S1816    GENERAL BILL by Health Regulation  (Compare CS/CS/CS/3RD ENG/H 1143,
CS/S 0760, CS/CS/1ST ENG/S 1412, CS/CS/S 2434)
Assisted Living Facilities [SPSC]; Deletes the requirement for an
assisted living facility to obtain an additional license in order to
provide limited nursing services. Deletes the requirement for the AHCA
to conduct quarterly monitoring visits of facilities that hold a license
to provide extended congregate care services. Deletes the requirement
for the DOEA to report annually on the status of and recommendations
related to extended congregate care, etc. EFFECTIVE DATE: 07/01/2010.
