Senate 2022: Relating to Florida Retirement System [WPSC] ------------------------------------------------------------------

S2022    GENERAL BILL/CS by Policy & Steering Committee on Ways and Means;
Alexander (Compare CS/CS/2ND ENG/H 1307, 1ST ENG/H 5607)
Florida Retirement System [WPSC]; Deletes a provision ensuring certain
rights of members of the system. Provides for employee and employer
contributions. Provides that the rights of members are of a contractual
nature. Requires employee and employer contributions to the retirement
system effective January 1, 2011. Limits the payment of benefits prior
to a participant's termination of employment, etc. APPROPRIATION:
$445,125. EFFECTIVE DATE: 07/01/2010.
