Senate 1072: Relating to Juvenile Justice [SPSC] ------------------------------------------------------------------

S1072    GENERAL BILL/CS/1ST ENG by Criminal and Civil Justice Appropriations;
Wise; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Wilson (Similar CS/H 7181, Compare H 7131,
CS/CS/1ST ENG/S 1412, CS/S 2364)
Juvenile Justice [SPSC]; Includes children 9 years of age or younger at
the time of referral for a delinquent act within the definition of those
children who are eligible to receive comprehensive mental health
services. Encourages law enforcement agencies, school districts,
counties, municipalities, and the DJJ to establish prearrest or
postarrest diversion programs. Revises membership on the statewide risk
assessment instrument committee, etc. EFFECTIVE DATE: 07/01/2010.
