Senate 1898: Relating to Public Records ------------------------------------------------------------------

S1898    PUBLIC RECORDS/GENERAL BILL by King; Smith  (Compare H 7115, S 0592,
CS/S 1052)
Public Records; creates exemption from public-records requirements for
record consisting of any photograph or video recording of remains of
victim of crime which is criminal intelligence or criminal investigative
information; requires that certain persons be given reasonable notice of
petition filed with court to inspect or copy record, copy of petition, &
reasonable notice of opportunity to be present & heard at any hearing on
matter, etc. Amends 119.071. EFFECTIVE DATE: 07/01/2006.
