Senate 1962: Relating to Human & Sex Trafficking ------------------------------------------------------------------

S1962    GENERAL BILL/1ST ENG by Wasserman Schultz; (CO-SPONSORS) Smith;
Aronberg; Haridopolos (Similar H 0865, Compare H 1977)
Human & Sex Trafficking; specifies elements of offense of unlawfully
obtaining labor or services; specifies elements of offense of human
trafficking; provides for offense of sex trafficking; provides that it
is felony of first degree if sex trafficking involves person under age
of 14 or results in death; expands definition of racketeering activity
to include the offenses created herein, etc. Creates 787.05,.06,
796.035,.045; amends 895.02; reenacts FS. EFFECTIVE DATE: 10/01/2004.
