Senate 2104: Relating to Sentencing Juveniles ------------------------------------------------------------------

S2104    GENERAL BILL by Wilson  (Similar H 1007)
Sentencing Juveniles; provides that juveniles may be sentenced to
juvenile sanctions or to combination of juvenile & adult sanctions;
provides procedure for those instances when Juvenile Justice Dept.
proposes to discharge child before he or she becomes 21 years of age;
requires dept. to notify sentencing court of its intent to discharge
child no later than 30 days before discharge; directs sentencing court
to consider educational needs of child, etc. Amends 985.233. EFFECTIVE
DATE: 07/01/2004.
