Senate 2136: Relating to Health Care ------------------------------------------------------------------

S2136    GENERAL BILL/CS/1ST ENG by Health, Aging, and Long-Term Care; Saunders
(Compare H 0807, H 1461, CS/CS/1ST ENG/S 1154, 2ND ENG/S 1666,
CS/CS/CS/2ND ENG/S 1680, S 2166, CS/CS/2ND ENG/S 2170, CS/2ND
ENG/S 2448)
Health Care; deletes requirements for DOH to administer electronic
continuing education tracking system for health care practitioners;
provides for enforcement of continuing education requirements required
for license renewal; requires that recipient of funds from Emergency
Medical Services TF return unexpended funds to DOH at end of grant
period; authorizes electronic submission of application for
certification as EMT or paramedic, etc. Amends FS. EFFECTIVE DATE:
07/01/2004.
