Senate 2142: Relating to Medicaid Postpartum Benefits [WPSC] ------------------------------------------------------------------

S2142    GENERAL BILL by Lawson  (Identical H 1125)
Medicaid Postpartum Benefits [WPSC]; Provides for continuation of
Medicaid coverage for women eligible for prenatal care benefits under
certain circumstances and for a specified period postpartum. Requires
the Agency for Health Care Administration to electronically enroll
eligible women. Authorizes the AHCA to seek waiver authority. EFFECTIVE
DATE: 01/01/2011.
