Senate 2310: Relating to FCAT/Student Populations of Haitian Descent [SPSC] ------------------------------------------------------------------

S2310    GENERAL BILL by Wilson
FCAT/Student Populations of Haitian Descent [SPSC]; Recognizes the
continuing, devastating, and far-reaching effects of the January 12,
2010, earthquake in Haiti. Provides that scores resulting from the
administration of the FCAT during the 2009-2010 school year may not be
considered for purposes of promotion, retention, or graduation in
certain schools having a student population of at least 40 percent who
are of Haitian descent, etc. EFFECTIVE DATE: 07/01/2010.
