Senate 2746: Relating to Education Programs for Children with Disabilities [SPSC] ------------------------------------------------------------------

S2746    GENERAL BILL/CS/CS by Policy & Steering Committee on Ways and Means;
Education Pre-K - 12; Gardiner (Similar CS/1ST ENG/H 1505)
Education Programs for Children with Disabilities [SPSC]; Revises
provisions relating to the John M. McKay Scholarships for Students with
Disabilities Program. Authorizes the Commissioner of Education to deny,
suspend, or revoke a private school's participation in the scholarship
program if the owner or operator of such school has operated an
educational institution in this state or another in a manner contrary to
the health, safety, or welfare of the public, etc. EFFECTIVE DATE:
07/01/2010.
