House 0295: Relating to Fleeing Law Enforcement Officer ------------------------------------------------------------------

H295     GENERAL BILL/2ND ENG by Patterson; (CO-SPONSORS) Cantens; Murzin;
Needelman; Slosberg; Stargel; Zapata (Similar S 1322, Compare S 0212)
Fleeing Law Enforcement Officer; provides additional classification for
offense of fleeing or attempting to elude law enforcement officer;
provides additional classification for offense of aggravated fleeing or
eluding; provides & revises criminal penalties for offenses of fleeing
or attempting to elude such officer & aggravated fleeing or eluding with
serious bodily injury or death, etc. Amends 316.1935, 921.0022; reenacts
318.17(1), 322.61(1)(d). EFFECTIVE DATE: 07/01/2004.
