House 0505: Relating to State Universities ------------------------------------------------------------------

H505     GENERAL BILL by Schenck  (Similar CS/S 0778, Compare CS/1ST ENG/S 1344)
State Universities; Redefines term "continuing contract" as it relates
to construction costs in order to increase certain cost thresholds;
authorizes university boards of trustees to establish renewable energy
fee under certain circumstances; limits use of fee; establishes
renewable energy fee committee; provides for referendum on continuing or
discontinuing fee; authorizes university to reestablish fee, etc.
EFFECTIVE DATE: Upon becoming law.
