House 1461: Relating to Energy Economic Zones ------------------------------------------------------------------

H1461    GENERAL BILL by Fitzgerald  (Compare CS/2ND ENG/H 7229, CS/1ST
ENG/S 1126, CS/S 2644)
Energy Economic Zones; Authorizes specified tax credits & other
incentives for pilot energy economic zone communities; provides
requirements for provision of such incentives; provides that designated
energy economic zones shall be considered transportation concurrency
exception areas; provides requirements for calculation of land required
to accommodate anticipated growth for specified purposes; defines term
"clean technology industries & technologies," etc. EFFECTIVE DATE: Upon
becoming law.
