House 1627: Relating to Charter Schools ------------------------------------------------------------------

H1627    GENERAL BILL by Arza  (Compare H 1913, CS/1ST ENG/S 3000)
Charter Schools; authorizes community colleges & state universities to
sponsor charter schools on their own or in partnership with independent
postsecondary educational institutions; revises provisions re compliance
with building construction standards; exempts charter school facilities
from complying with certain Fla. Building Code provisions; deletes
certain provisions re allocation of appropriated funds, etc. Amends
1002.32,.33, 1013.62. EFFECTIVE DATE: 07/01/2004.
