Senate 2302: Relating to Communications Services ------------------------------------------------------------------

S2302    GENERAL BILL/CS/1ST ENG by Finance and Taxation; Haridopolos;
(CO-SPONSORS) Crist (Compare H 1217, H 1237, CS/1ST ENG/S 2218, CS/1ST
ENG/S 2322, S 2780)
Communications Services; specifies period during which actual cost of
operating substitute communications system is exempt from tax on
communications services; creates Government-Owned Communications Study
Commission to review provision of communications services by local
governments; prohibits certain rate changes of PSC from taking effect
before specified date, etc. Amends 202.16,.19,.20,.21. EFFECTIVE DATE:
Upon becoming law except as otherwise provided.
