Senate 2810: Relating to Charter Schools [SPCC] ------------------------------------------------------------------

Charter Schools [SPCC]; Revises requirements for eligibility to
participate in the DROP. Requires a school in a district not granted
exclusive authority to sponsor charter schools to first submit the same
or a substantially similar application to the district school board in
order to appeal an application denial. Revises the eligibility
requirements for a student to attend a charter school, etc. EFFECTIVE
DATE: 07/01/2008.
