Senate 2870: Relating to Renewable Energy [RPCC] ------------------------------------------------------------------

S2870    GENERAL BILL by Deutch  (Identical H 1375, Compare 2ND ENG/H 7135,
CS/CS/CS/1ST ENG/S 1544)
Renewable Energy [RPCC]; Expands legislative intent relating to the
state's renewable energy policy. Requires the Florida Public Service
Commission and the Department of Environmental Protection to submit a
report relating to current renewable energy opportunities, resources,
and technologies in the state. Requires the commission and the
department to evaluate the effects of certain energy-generation methods,
etc. EFFECTIVE DATE: 07/01/2008.
