Economic Development; Governmental Affairs Policy (EDCA); Schenck;
Holder; (CO-SPONSORS) Mayfield (Identical CS/S 2540, Compare CS/2ND
ENG/S 1752)
Professional Sports Franchises [WPSC]; Amends specified provisions
relating to OTTED, distribution of certain tax proceeds, & allocation of
portion of local government half-cent sales tax; authorizes certain
units of local government to apply for certification to receive state
funding for facilities for spring training franchises; provides that
OTTED may authorize direct-support organization to assist in retention
of professional sports franchises, etc. EFFECTIVE DATE: 05/27/2010.
