Senate 2166: Relating to Emergency Medical Dept./Licensure ------------------------------------------------------------------

S2166    GENERAL BILL by Peaden  (Compare CS/1ST ENG/S 2136, CS/2ND ENG/S 2448,
CS/CS/CS/S 2910)
Emergency Medical Dept./Licensure; provides that, notwithstanding any
right or privilege granted to licensed hospital, a medical facility
located away from primary premises of licensed hospital may not be
licensed as, or represent itself to public to be, emergency department
of licensed hospital. Amends 395.003. EFFECTIVE DATE: Upon becoming
law.
