Senate 2218: Relating to Taxation

S2218    GENERAL BILL/CS/1ST ENG by Finance and Taxation; Margolis  (Compare 2ND
  ENG/H 0109, H 0993, H 1465, H 1991, CS/S 1290, CS/S 1628, CS/1ST
  ENG/S 2302, CS/1ST ENG/S 2322, CS/S 2710, S 2976)
  Taxation; allows refunds of taxes paid if taxes paid to another state
  will be credited against Fla. liability; provides that person who
  willfully attempts in any manner to evade or defeat tax or fee imposed
  under specified provision, commits felony of third degree; provides DOR
  direction for retention & destruction of unclaimed evidence; extends
  documentary stamp tax exemption for international banking transactions
  to out-of-state banks, etc. Amends FS.  EFFECTIVE DATE: Upon becoming
  law except as otherwise provided.
