Senate 2368: Relating to Commercial Electronic Messages ------------------------------------------------------------------

S2368    GENERAL BILL by Posey  (Similar S 0436, Compare H 1363, S 1084, 2ND
ENG/S 2574)
Commercial Electronic Messages; prohibits person from transmitting
commercial electronic mail message that uses third party's Internet
domain name without permission or message that contains false or
misleading information; prohibits person from transmitting unsolicited
said message without use of characters "ADV:" in subject line or without
providing mechanism allowing recipients to easily remove themselves from
sender's electronic mailing address list at no cost, etc. EFFECTIVE
DATE: 07/01/2004.
