An act relating to public procurement; prohibiting

transactions between state agencies and specified

companies; providing an effective date.

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

     Section 1. An agency, as defined in s. 287.012, Florida

9

Statutes, may not award or renew a contract or purchasing

10

agreement with a company included on either the "Scrutinized

11

Companies with Activities in Sudan List" or the "Scrutinized

12

Companies with Activities in the Iran Petroleum Energy Sector

13

List," as determined by the State Board of Administration

14

pursuant to s. 215.473(2)(c), Florida Statutes.

     Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a law.
