A bill to be entitled
2An act relating to Broward County; authorizing the
3enforcement of moving traffic violations in municipalities
4within the county under certain circumstances regardless
5of compliance with specified Department of Transportation
6standards; providing an effective date.
8Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
10     Section 1.  Notwithstanding s. 316.003(53), s. 316.006(2),
11s. 316.640(3), or any other provision of chapter 316, Florida
12Statutes, to the contrary, moving traffic violations may be
13enforced in any municipality within Broward County if traffic
14control signage meets Department of Transportation standards,
15regardless of whether the roadway complies with other department
16standards that do not affect such moving traffic violations,
17such as standards regarding roadway width and the existence of
18speed bumps or other traffic-calming devices.
19     Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a law.
