    2         An act relating to fire sprinklers; amending s.
    3         553.73, F.S.; prohibiting the inclusion of certain
    4         local amendments to the Florida Building Code adopted
    5         by the Florida Building Commission in the Florida
    6         Building Code; providing an effective date.

    8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
    9  
   10         Section 1. Subsection (14) is added to section 553.73,
   11  Florida Statutes, to read:
   12         553.73 Florida Building Code.—
   13         (14) Any local amendments to s. R313 of the Florida
   14  Building Code relating to mandatory fire sprinklers adopted by
   15  the Florida Building Commission shall not be included in the
   16  Florida Building Code as adopted by the commission.
   17         Section 2. This act shall take effect upon becoming a law.
