1Representative Mayfield offered the following:
3     Amendment (with title amendment)
4     Remove lines 4308-4319
5     (6)(a)  A good faith effort shall be made by the applicant
6to provide direct written notice of the filing of an application
7for certification by United States mail or hand delivery no
8later than 45 days after filing of the application to all local
9landowners whose property, as noted in the most recent local
10government tax records, and residences are located within the
11following distances of the proposed project:
12     1.  Three miles of the proposed main site boundaries of the
13proposed electrical power plant.
14     2.  One-quarter mile for a transmission line corridor that
15only includes a transmission line as defined by s. 403.522(22).
16     3.  For all other linear associated facilities extending
17away from the main site boundary except for a transmission line
18corridor that includes a transmission line that operates below
19those defined by s. 403.522(22).
20     (b)  No later than 60 days from the filing of an
21application for certification, the applicant shall file a list
22with the department's Siting Coordination Office of landowners
23and residences that were notified.
24     (7)(a)  A good faith effort shall be made by the proponent
25of an alternate corridor that includes a transmission line, as
26defined by s. 403.522(22), to provide direct written notice of
27the filing of an alternate corridor for certification by United
28States mail or hand delivery of the filing of no later than 30
29days after filing of the alternate corridor to all local
30landowners whose property, as noted in the most recent local
31government tax records, and residences, are located within one-
32quarter mile of the proposed boundaries of a transmission line
33corridor that includes a transmission line as defined by s.
35     (b)  No later than 45 days from the filing of an alternate
36corridor for certification, the proponent of an alternate
37corridor shall file a list with the department's Siting
38Coordination Office of landowners and residences that were

44     Remove line 290 and insert:
4545 days before the rescheduled certification hearing; requiring
46applicants to make specified efforts to provide notice to
47certain landowners and to file a list of such notification with
48the Department of Environmental Protection's Siting Coordination
