1Representative Hudson offered the following:

3     Amendment to Amendment (870297) (with title amendment)
4     Remove lines 1409-1416 and insert:
5$500,000 $750,000 or more is not eligible for coverage by the
6corporation unless the structure has opening protections as
7required under the Florida Building Code for a newly constructed
8residential structure in that area. A residential structure
9shall be deemed to comply with the requirements of this
10subparagraph if it has shutters or opening protections on all
11openings and if such opening protections complied with the
12Florida Building Code at the time they were installed. A
13prospective purchaser of any such residential property must be
14provided by the seller a written disclosure that contains the
15structure's windstorm mitigation rating based on the uniform
16home grading scale adopted under s. 215.55865. Such rating shall
17be provided to the purchaser at or before the time the purchaser
18executes a contract for sale and purchase.
19     6.  Effective January 1, 2011, the requirements of this
20subparagraph apply to a personal lines residential structure
21that is located in the wind-borne debris region. A prospective
22purchaser of any such residential property must be provided by
23the seller a written disclosure that contains the structure's
24windstorm mitigation rating based on the uniform home grading
25scale adopted under s. 215.55865. Such rating shall be provided
26to the purchaser at or before the time the purchaser executes a
27contract for sale and purchase. The Financial Services
28Commission may adopt rules consistent with other state laws to
29administer this subparagraph, including the form of the
30disclosure and the requirements for the windstorm mitigation
31inspection or report that is required for purposes of
32determining the rating.
