The Committee on General Government Appropriations (Baker)

recommended the following amendment to amendment (924300):

     Senate Amendment (with title amendment)

     Between line(s) 808 and 809,

insert:

     Section 12.  Section 627.0655, Florida Statutes, is amended

8

to read:

9

     627.0655  Policyholder loss or expense-related premium

10

discounts.--An insurer or person authorized to engage in the

11

business of insurance in this state may include, in the premium

12

charged an insured for any policy, contract, or certificate of

13

insurance, a discount based on the fact that another policy,

14

contract, or certificate of any type has been purchased by the

15

insured from the same insurer or insurer group, the Citizens

16

Property Insurance Corporation created under s. 627.351(6), or an

17

insurer that has removed the policy from the Citizens Property

18

Insurance Corporation if the same insurance agent is servicing

19

both policies.

     On line(s) 2789, after the semicolon,

insert:
