Numbers and Effective Dates
Bills approved by the Governor become effective on date approved, unless another date is specified in the bill. If approved after the date specified or if no effective date is specified in the bill, the effective date is 60 days after sine die. Proposed constitutional amendments are subject to a vote of the people.
